Heaven just received its newest angel; a true free spirit, provider to the less fortunate, consummate champion of the underdog, a loving son, adored brother, caring uncle and stepfather. William Caldwell Pike was received into God loving arms on August 22, 2012. Bill was born in Huntington, West Virginia on January 29, 1949. His greatest joy was being a mentor to those less fortunate and those who chose to walk to the beat of a different drum. He was a graduate of Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia and was a proud brother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He went on to receive a Masters degree from Northwestern University Chicago, Ill. Bill was a mortgage broker at Stockton Watley and Davin and Bank of Boston before beginning his own brokerage firm, Southern Homes Mortgage. He is survived by mother Carol Teagle; sister Cindy Pike Short (Bob); niece Jennifer Eden; great nephews Hunter, Blake and Spencer Fromang, and Brian Okam; stepson Cris Candy; stepdaughter Casey Cline and step granddaughter Zoey; step-daughter Hannah Grace Braham; cousins Carol Tittle (Chuck), Tom Krieger (Jackie), Joe Krieger ( Carolyn), Sally McCoy (Gene) and Sue Foster (John). Bill is also survived by his adored dog Pearl. Bill was prededeased by his father A.W. Pike. A memorial service will be held at Griffin Assembly of God Church, Griffin Georgia, September 5, 2012 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Gidions, P.O.
