Mrs. Wilma Laverne Stiffey, age 83, of Rex, passed away on December 10, 2017. She was a member of The Rock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ralph Arnold Stiffey and her grandson: PFC Robert Adrian Worthington. She is survived by her children: Maliece Sorrows and husband David of Stockbridge, Edward R. Stiffey of Rex, Rhonda S. Worthington of Rex; grandchildren: Joshua Sorrows (Sara), Matthew Stiffey, Kaylin Worthington; great grandchildren: Treylin Mulkey, Kayne Mulkey, Caleb Sorrows, Abiel Mulkey and Micah Sorrows. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at The Rock Baptist Church with Rev Joshua Sorrows officiating. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-8 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
