Mr. Wilmer Thomas "W.T." Wright, age 89 of Jonesboro passed away June 20, 2022. Mr. Wright was a retired mechanic with Ryder Trucking, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie Dave and Rena Mae (Martin) Wright, his wife: Nettie Lee (Seay) Wright and his siblings: Joel Charlie "J.C." Wright, Rosa Lee Williamson, Effie Mae Snelgrove and Janelle "Nell" Stubbs. He is survived by his daughter: Brenda Faye Wiegmann, son: Thomas "Wayne" Wright, sister: Jeanette Spires, grandchildren: Michele Lee Ross, Tabitha Renee Tanner and Thomas Wayne Wright, Jr., great-grandchildren: Trenten Zackery Tanner, Hunter Kane Wright, Brayden James Dobbins and Madison Raelynn Tanner, several nieces nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Lanson Newsome and Rev. Allen Davis officiating. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service. Interment Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Sherwood Memorial Park.
